LODGING POLICIES

Sunset on the Shoals Lake Resort is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 2 weeks* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation for a full refund.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 2 weeks* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made.


Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.

WIRELESS INTERNET PROVIDED: SUNSET password is wakesurf

Absolutely No Smoking Inside Rooms or Game Room; however smoking is allowed outdoors, please be respectful of other guests.

NO PETS allowed at the resort, boarding is available in the Diamond City area.

PARKING: VEHICLES and MOTORCYCLES ARE PROVIDED ONE RESERVED PARKING SPOT BY ROOM. BOAT PARKING AND ADDITIONAL VEHICLES IN UPPER LOT ONLY

TENANT LIABILITY: Tenant agrees to accept liability for any damages caused to the property, by the tenant or the tenant’s guest. If damages occur the tenant agrees to pay for repair of damage.

AIR CONDITIONING: Do not operate the unit with any doors or windows open as this will cause the unit to freeze and malfunction. Tenant will be charged for repair.

SUNSET GAME ROOM available for guest use. Open daily until 2 am. Includes: Stereo with auxillary cord hook up, TV with additional Direct TV channels available, foosball, darts, bean bag toss and enclosed dining/socializing area. First come first serve basis, please respectful of others. No smoking in game room. Please turn off all lights, TV, Stereo when leaving and turn off AC/heater if you are last to exit at end of day.

RESORT SWIM DOCK-DAY BOAT MOORING DOCK available for guests with access via Corps of Engineer land just past Room 6. Use handrail at all times on way to dock. Boats may be moored at owner's risk. Supply own buoys.
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES;

FIREPIT available for guest use on first come first serve basis; do not leave fire unattended, extinguish fire fully before leaving (at night or at departure)

All TRASH must be bagged and placed in one of 2 small trash bins at top of hill above Room 1. New trash bags are located under kitchen sink in each cabin.

LAUNDRY facility available for guest personal use, detergent/softeners not provided.

TOWELS AND LINENS - All bath towels and linens are furnished in the rooms. Please bring all personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, lotion etc.).

Prior to check out place used resort towels on bathroom floor, no need to strip beds.

NO LARGE PARTIES OR EVENTS ARE ALLOWED WITHOUT APPROVAL, IF ARRANGEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN MADE TO PRIOR EVENT, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO END THE EVENT AND A $800 EVENT FEE WILL BE CHARGED

NOONE UNDER 23 MAY OCCUPY A ROOM WITHOUT A PARENT/GUARDIAN

HOLD HARMLESS: Sunset on the Shoals LLC and it's property managers do not assume any liability for loss, damage, or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither do we accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppages of water, electricity plumbing. Nor will we accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God or other reasons out of our control.
