About Us

We'll be honest—we weren't really looking to buy a resort. But when this little gem came up for sale on our favorite lake, we knew it was meant to be. We've both grown up near this lake, and many of our best memories were made here. Now, with three children of our own, we're excited to create new memories as a family—and to share this special place with our guests.

By day, Ben works as a commercial banker, and Hannah is a nurse practitioner. Together, we also manage a cattle farm that keeps us on our toes. Life is full, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Running Sunset on the Shoals through online bookings and keyless check-in makes it easy for us to welcome visitors while still keeping family and farm life running smoothly.

At our core, we cherish the simple joys of lake life—the calm water in the mornings, the laughter of kids catching their first fish, and the peace that settles over the shoreline as the sun goes down. Whether you're here for adventure, relaxation, or just a quiet escape, we hope you'll find the same beauty and tranquility that keeps us rooted here.
